GAA LACROSSE REGISTRATION

boys and girls teams at all age levels, but space is limited.
Registration will end on January 10, 2009 with another
Walk-up registration at Grayson high school,
From 12:00 – 2:00pm.

fitting.
PLAYERS AND COACHES CAMP,
SUNDAY, JANUARY 11, 2009
This free camp is limited to
registered GAA players and coaches.
Girls – Bay Creek park, 1:00 – 3:00pm
Players and coaches from the
UGA Women's lacrosse team will be with us to work with the Grayson girls
lacrosse players and coaches to help maximize their lacrosse game.
So players, bring your
sticks and goggles, and coaches, bring your notebooks and come out ready
to learn from one of the best club programs in the country.
Boys – Bay Creek Park,
3:00 – 5:00pm
Coach Bobby Lasorda of the
GHS Men's team, along with experienced members of “double sticks
lacrosse” will be running a players and coaches camp.
Players will need full
equipment (see the GAA website for equipment details) and need to come
ready to learn from some of the best lacrosse people in Atlanta. Camp
directors will be working with our coaches to help them prepare for the
upcoming season.
LEAGUE INFORMATION: BOYS
& GIRLS YOUTH LEAGUE (REC)
Boys and Girls teams, ages 8-14, will play in the newly created Gwinnett
Lacrosse League, modeled after football’s GFL, with teams from Peachtree
Ridge, Collins Hill, Mill Creek and Grayson Athletics Associations. Age
groups are U9, U11, U13 and U15. So boys and girls, ages 7-14 will be
able to play in this new youth league.
U19 NGLL TEAMS
High School boys and girls will play in the established North Georgia
Lacrosse League. This team will be a starter team for the GHSA Certified
Grayson High School teams scheduled to begin play in the 2009-2010
school year. There will be an informational meeting at the Grayson High
School Tech Ed Auditorium November 11, 2008 at 7:00pm for both Boys and
Girls programs.
