The Annual Green/Gold GHS Spring Game will be held Friday, May 17th, @ 7:30 p.m. at Grayson High School Stadium. Admission is $5 and will get you a hotdog, chips and drink (while supplies last). The Green/Gold Picnic is a fundraiser for the Grayson HS Football Touchdown Club.

SCOREBOARD FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
Dear GAA Family, Friends, and Community Members:
We want to share the news of a new fundraising campaign for our park. As you may have recently noticed, GAA purchased a new scoreboard for Field 8 at Bay Creek Park. We were very pleased at the results. The scoreboard provides more features and functionality, looks great, and improves the appearance of our park.
Plans are already underway to replace the scoreboard at our football field with a new scoreboard of similar design and appearance. This project was funded equally by GAA and a matching sponsorship from Titan Team Sports.
As we evaluated our current facilities and equipment, we realized that our other scoreboards are aging and in need of replacement or repairs. As the equipment grows older, the cost of maintenance increases. We have even recently been experiencing outages with some of our scoreboards.
Due to this, we have approached the scoreboard company and requested an estimate to replace seven scoreboards that we have remaining. This will include two softball scoreboards, four baseball scoreboards, and the scoreboard on our special pops field. The scoreboards we requested quotes for will be the most current technology complete with wireless control panels. This will allow our parent volunteers to run a scoreboard and still sit with their families to enjoy their child’s game.
The costs associated with the project will be approximately $50,000. Over the next two years, we will be trying to raise funds to cover this cost. You may donate online through a link at our website using a credit or debit card, during registration, or by mailing in a check. Since we are a 501©3 organization, all of your charitable donations are tax exempt.
Please let your family, friends, neighbors, and local businesses know of our effort to replace the scoreboards. Our desire is to ensure that GAA maintains top-notch athletic facilities for our children and families. Thank you for your support.

2013 FALL LACROSSE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
The GAA is excited to announce that the fastest growing sport in the southeast is coming home to Grayson this fall. For the first time in Grayson, we will be fielding teams for the U11 and the U13 age groups (5th – 8th grade) for Fall lacrosse. We will be competing against some of Georgia’s most respected programs, such as Lambert, Johns Creek, and Alpharetta. This program is open to boys and girls of all skill levels, whether interested in trying out a new sport or continuing to improve lacrosse skills, this will be a wonderful opportunity! Practices will begin in early August and the season will end with a championship tournament in early November. Registration is $150 per player and includes the uniform!
